(1) Every village executive or city executive shall submit a report every year to the village assembly or city assembly containing the following particulars:-
(a)   Public and private schools operating at the respective local level and the number of children studying in such schools,
(b)   Number of children enrolled in schools up to the basic level,
(c) Number of children enrolled in schools and completing basic education,
(d)   Number of students admitted to school and left school without completing basic education in that year,
(e)   Funds allocated for basic level, secondary education and sources thereof,
(f)   Other necessary matters.
(2) The report according to sub-section (1) shall be sent annually to the Ministry of Education of the Government of Nepal and the Ministry of Education of the Provincial Government for information.
